London College of Fashion

BA 2018 Degree Show

Brand Identity

2018

This is a collaborative project with London College of Communication MA Graphic Branding and Identity students for London College of Fashion BA 2018 degree show. The presentation themes of the show are ’Technology and Old + New’, ‘Discovery of different perspectives’, ’The Odd and The Off’, ‘Destroy gender, face and Identity, wrap and alien’, ’85% flat moving images, multiscale, digital and 5% installation’, ‘Being stupid and weird’ and ‘Celebrating a tech glitch’.

Following the themes, I researched with my team and I had the role of visualising brand concept. I focused on scanning fabric materials and developed visual patterns of the brand. I also designed typefaces using the scanning technique. The colour palette I created was inspired by glitch effects and created from a set of brand colours — Yellow, Red and Blue. Alongside this discipline-based grouping, three main colours curate into three thematic headings that cross practice-based boundaries: Spaces & Senses, Collaboration & Innovation and Re-imagining Identity.
